The Mission
The Belgium Pizza League is not just a competition, our goal is to create a healthy and competitive environment where participants can not only test themselves but also exchange ideas and grow both professionally and personally. We strongly believe in the power of unity and that creating a solid network between participants can improve the world of pizza at a national level.
The Story
The Belgium Pizza League is the first and only national competition in Belgium regarding the world of pizza. Born in 2024 from an idea by Giuseppe Delemmi, every year it gives the opportunity to compare and exchange ideas to hundreds of pizza chefs, coming from both the national territory and other European countries.
The Locations
The competition is divided into two stages: one in the south of Belgium in Marche-en-Famenne (Horecatel) in March, and the other in Gent (Horeca Expo) in November. In each of these competitions, the best pizza chefs in each category from Flanders and Wallonia are elected. The best pizza chef in Belgium will be decided by the sum of the scores obtained in the two competitions during the year.
The Jury
Every year the jury is carefully selected, so that we can have a team of professionals and experts in the sector who can judge the competitors in the best and impartial way. For us, it is essential to choose people who are competent in their sector and with an open mind and ready to embrace the changes in the world of white art.

Belgium Pizza School
Belgium Pizza School also collaborates with our competition. The only pizza school in Belgium that allows the training of professional pizza chefs every year. Due to their expertise and presence on the Belgian territory they take care of the organization of the event. Making sure that every year the expectations of the competitors and the organizers are respected, innovating and always keeping the level of the competition high.
